Salman Khan is a big name. Ever since his film " Dabangg" made in 2010 was released the star has been at the top of the horizon in Bollywood. Many rate him as the "Numero Uno" of the Mumbai film world.Salman for many years has been releasing films on the Muslim festival of Eid after Ramadan. Maybe he wants to identify himself as a staunch Muslim. All his films released during this holy period have been a  success, but this time the story is different.

Salman, as usual, released his film "Tubelight" along with Chinese actress Zhu-Zhu. With a Chinese girl, the film

was expected to set the Box Office on fire. The film set with the background of the India-China war in 1962 was assumed would interest viewers. Salman also donned the image of a softer role compared to his macho image as seen in films like "Sultan". He
had played the role of a wrestler in that film.

"Tubelight" has bombed at the box office. The film which had been sold for a fancy price to distributors saw them lose almost half of their investment. Many asked for a refund but this is not the norm in show business. When you invest you know the risks involved. The failure of the film which barely eked out 200 crores also irked the Chines actress Zhu-ZHu who canceled her visit to India. She was miffed at the failure of the film. Not her fault as she looked lovely but the box office is always fickle. Salman will have to do better as another flop would be the door out for him.
