Dubai is known as the El Dorado of the East and there is no city like it anywhere in the world. It is not only the city of gold but a wonderful place that exhibits an exotic lifestyle and great places to spend the time. However, one exotic piece of adventure is photographing a tiger, in fact, 5 of them swimming on the beach. This was in Dubai at the Burj El Arab.
Tigers are not allowed as pets but some well-heeled millionaires do keep some tigers as pets. Probably they let them loose on the beach and they made an exotic day.
There were 3 tigers and 2 white tigers in all. That makes it a total of 5 tigers and the way they played on the beach show how much they liked getting into the water.The tigers were the famous Bengal tiger. This beast a native to the Sunderban has its natural habitat in waterlogged forests. It is at home in these surroundings and so being in water is not something alien to the beast. The white tiger is a rarity and originally were only with the ruler of Rewa, but he bred them and sold them to a few zoo and the beasts multiplied.Yet only about 590 are in the world and mostly in zoos.
The 5 tigers were
let loose on the beach and they swam in the ocean and played about. They were probably well fed and as such pretty contented. The comradery of the 5 including the white tigers was exemplary. It was like friends enjoying a beach day together. As the tigers frolicked the far away structure of Dubai could be seen.Tigers cannot be tamed and sometimes turn man-eaters. Ask Kenneth Anderson and Jim Corbet about this and their books will educate you as to what a man-eater is. It is called a big cat, but don't mistake it with a cat. It is ferocious and not without reason called the king of the jungle.
The tigers on the beach at Burj El Arab was a beautiful scene. Something rare and the massive beasts could be seen as well fed and looked after. This will gladden the hearts of animal lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. The tigers were at home on the beach and spent a good two hours there. The tigers on the beach and frolicking in the sea is a better sight than a girl in a bikini on the beach. Am I wrong?
