Bane Of Hinduism Are The Sadhus And Babas And They Have Lots Of Support
This is a fatal flaw in Hinduism-propensity to worship baba's or god-men
Hinduism is an old religion but one of its pillars are sadhus and so-called god-men. These men are adulated and their faults looked away or ignored by even sane men and that has no explanation
One of the pillars of Hinduism is the Sadhu or the man who is supposed to have renounced life.He is usually referred to as Baba by common people.The word 'baba' also means grandfather, father, or uncle, in many Indian languages. These characters have been around since the dawn of Hinduism, which is incidentally the oldest religion in the world.
Hinduism extols the virtues of the sadhu and over centuries this concept of the God-man is deeply ingrained into Hindu psyche.The result is that almost 90%( I can be wrong on the percentage) believe these men can help them attain salvation.The result is simply catastrophic.Why? because a vast majority of these babas are simply con-men playing on the Hindu psyche and they want nothing more than a good girl in bed and lots of money.The gullible feed them and I am aware of umpteen women who willingly give themselves to these sadhus and so-called mystics with the sure hope that copulation with them will lead to eternal bliss.
This phenomenon is not confined to Hindus and the Muslim Pir is also part of this scenario. Otherwise, the case of the Muslim Pir in Pakistan Punjab who impregnated 300 women in the hope that sex with him will mean a son would not have taken place.In India, we have the latest case of Baba Ram Rahim and earlier Asa Ram.Yet, these worthies command a lot of support even now.What could be the reason? Socialists must study the Hindu psyche which allows blind belief even if baba rapes or even kills and are prepared to condone all his acts in the hope that he is GOD.
