Gun Culture In America Leads To The Killing Fields

The recent killings in Las Vegas points to easy availability of automatic guns

American society is fast degenerating into a mass killing spree with no gun control and no checks making the life of the ordinary citizen a torture.

America was the land of milk and honey but not now as it is more apt to refer to it as a land of killing fields.The recent shooting in Las Vegas that led to over 59 innocent citizens being killed and over 500 injured, some of them maimed for life is news that is simply horrid.The worst part is that the killer chose Las Vegas.No many know that Las Vegas holds the world biggest exhibition and sale of guns every year.Over 630,000 sq feet almost 65000 visitors are shown a dis[lay of automatics, guns, and carbines.One can say that these exhibitions add petrol to the fire and the killer may have purchased many of his 41 guns from this fair.

The US President Donald Trump has shown the thinking of the establishment by stating that the time to limit guns has not yet come.

I wonder what he means as a research organization has brought out that over 500,000 Americans have been shot, killed or hurt by guns over a period of the last decade.This is a terrible price to pay by the common American citizen.To get killed for nothing is not what a common citizen looks forward to you.Who is going to stop this rut in America? Is it the mark of Cain? The military-Industrial complex led by the gun lobby may have effectively sealed America's fate.
